In case you haven't noticed, there is a small battle going on in the comments about which system is better. Feel free to chime in with your opinion. (Please direct all hateful comments about the PS3 to koolaidude)

It's funny because I'm PC all the way.

Oh Josh it seems you will never see the light.....
The xbox360 costs $400
The PS3 costs $600
If you want to see HD movies with your xbox you will need to buy the player which is $200, which is already $600.... =S
You want to play online? OK! That will be $100 a year please! Thats a total of $700! But wait! Who uses wires to connect to the internet? Thats lame!!! You want wifi! You need an extra $99 for it! =D OMG! What? Your controler has ran out of battery? Aww you need to buy another battery pack! D'= Thats too bad because the PS3 has bluetooth controlers, all you do is plug and charge.
Bottom line:
Everybody "says" xbox is better but xbox doesnt play HD games, it only plays DVDs and has an external HD DVD player that CAN ONLY play movies.
koolaidude, I'm not sure if you realize this... but the format war is still on... PS3 plays blue-ray whereas the 360 has that 200 dollar HD DVD component. It seems PS3 wins here. HOWEVER, that's assuming blu ray wins the format war over HD-DVD.
Also condider this. The fact that the 360's HD DVD component is seperate, means that in three years, you'll have to buy an new PS3 (because the of the many movies + games you play being taxing on the reader). Whereas, in 3 years, you'd only have to replace your 360 component which would cost about 100 bucks. 360 wins in the longrun
And what if blu ray doesn't win the format war? PS3's HD movies will then be obsolete and you would've spent 600 bucks for trash. tsk tsk.
Now.. it's interesting to also note, the compiler used to develope the PS3 has a lot of bugs in it.. so therefore many MANY glitches to your 600 unit. Whereas microsoft's visual.net compiler/debugger has a proven integrity. which means you paid 600 bucks for a console that is inferior and rushed into production.
PS3's SPU is also nothing compared to the 360's GPU (i'm talking graphics).. the GPU is plainly more powerful.
And koolaidude, who cares about wifi, it's not like you're going camping with your 360 or PS3. And if you're heading your argument online, let me just tell you this. The ps2 online support sucked and now sony's playing catchup by guess.. copying xbox's model. yes copying it. tsk tsk. but it's been hard because they were having such a hard time just getting the ps3 to work.
And as far as batteries.. it's cheaper to buy a couple of batteries than it would be if the charger in your ps3 controller gave out. and having to replace it.
Koolaidude, it just seems ps3 has blinded you to the ways of the truth.
Why did you get a gaming system anyway? to play movies? or play games? Either way xbox wins this one.
PC's can use emulators to play multiple console games. And the graphics are up to the the user. Get a state of the art graphics card and it'll be better than xbox or ps3.
I also say that the Wii is up there because of its creativity.
